Chicken and
Corn Chowder

Ingredients
80 grams butter
1 onion chopped
1 red pepper chopped
1 jalapeño deseeded sliced
1/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon paprika
4 cups chicken stock
2 medium potatoes cubed
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Meat of 1 shop bought roasted chicken or 2 medium chicken fillets steamed and shredded
1 cup corn
1/2 teaspoon crushed red chillies
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup heavy (thicken ) cream
Method
Heat butter in a thick based pan until butter melts add the onion and red pepper and jalapeño and cook until it all soften slightly
Add the flour sauté , paprika and chicken stock with the potatoes and cook until potatoes are soften 10 to 15 minutes
Stir in the chicken, corn, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper,crushed chillies and continue to cook for 5 minutes
Add the heavy cream
